Panhellenic

What is Panhellenic?

The National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) is the governing body for 26 inter/national women's fraternities and sororities. It was founded in 1902 and is one of the largest and oldest women's membership organizations.

But what does Panhellenic at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln do?

Panhellenic at UNL is officially known as the Panhellenic Association (PHA) and is the governing organization for the 15 chapters that we have on our campus. Those chapters are Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Phi, Alpha Xi Delta, Chi Omega, Delta Delta Delta, Delta Gamma, Gamma Phi Beta, Kappa Alpha Theta, Kappa Delta, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Phi Mu, Pi Beta Phi, and Theta Phi Alpha. The council is headed by an executive team. The Panhellenic Council manages dues, enforces rules, organizes events, and serves as a body of the communication between chapters, other councils on campus, and administration. Our main goal is to promote a unified and strong Greek community for the women on our campus through philantropy, scholarship and the advocacy of women's issues.
